What are Print-on-Demand (POD) books? In my last post, I introduced POD and its income potential. In this post, I will SHOW you what I am talking about.
Downloadable PDF for Printout to POD
Almost every teacher print PDFs (Portable Document File) for their students. Some even create their own worksheets or sell them at Teachers Pay Teachers or Etsy. But do you know you can convert a PDF with a few pages into a POD book? Two months ago, we had a series where I converted a 7-page PDF file into a POD Book. Writing about it has it limits so I decided to show you what I am talking about in this very short clip. Please click and watch (55 seconds):
That book is letter sized or 8.5 x 11 inches using cream paper. It’s cover is matte. I listed it at Amazon and they printed an actual book after I ordered just on copy. An author’s copy costs $3.04 plus $3.59 shipping. Based on this sample:
the cream paper is thick enough to write on
the ink used did not bleed (red flair pen)
there were smudges on the matte cover after some gentle handling
